Hi, we’re Danielle & Roberta
We met on social media in 2021, during the pandemic, both navigating our own grief for many years.
Roberta was grieving the loss of her mom. Danielle was grieving the loss of her dad. While processing these painful losses, we were also navigating other hardships that life had unexpectedly thrown at us.
At the time, we were just two strangers sharing our interest in real estate and fitness. We didn’t set out to start a clothing brand.
We couldn’t find clothing that felt right, thoughtful, or actually supportive for the hard days. We wanted clothing that honoured our grief in a meaningful way, without any spoke words.
So we decided to make our own.
In December 2024, we got to work. We designed our first piece, called the Healing Hearts Hoodie. We shared our story and our mission on social media, with friends and family and started going to exhibition events. People loved our brand, what it stood for. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and many women resonated with our story.
With all this support, we knew we had to keep going. We are building something special, HeartWear Co. is not just a clothing company. We are building a community.
Each piece we create is rooted in one simple belief: You deserve self-care.
Our clothes are proudly made in Canada using eco-conscious fabrics like bamboo, cotton, and spandex. We partner with local businesses and choose materials that are soft on your skin and kind to the earth.
